Interviews should be about what you want!

Interviews are a 2-way street.

Remember you should never go to an interview cap in hand. If you go with a curious growth mindset rather than thinking ‘I hope they like me’ you won’t end up in a role you are not suited to or don’t enjoy. And yes, you do want to impress but they also need to impress you.

As well as practising your interview answers, understand what your needs are before you have the interview. What are the deal breakers? What factors are important to you in your next role? You can sometimes end up compromising but if you have a clear idea of what is important to you, you can make an informed decision about what those compromises are.
